Originally from Maryland, Regina obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of Notre Dame of MD, (now Notre Dame of MD University) in 1985. In 1993, she obtained her Master’s in Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. Initially licensed in California in 1999, Regina holds a current license to practice Social Work in North Carolina. She has worked with a variety of populations/programs such as senior citizens, the homeless, forensic mental health, outreach/case management for non-profits, and prior to her retirement in May of 2022, she spent the last 11 years of her career at the Naval Medical Center, Camp Lejeune, Mental Health Department as a Staff Therapist (contractor). Married to a Navy veteran, mother to adult twins, and grandmother to one precious granddaughter, Regina enjoys reading, Zumba, gardening, day trips around North Carolina, and volunteering.
